This is a collection of images that I captured from Google Earth (which I highly recommend, if you don't have it already).  This first image is of the whole Municipality of Daegu.  The Municipality, in its entirety, is merely 13 miles wide and 13 miles high.  The city, itself, doesn't even take up the entire area of the municipality.  The actual city is only about 10 miles by 7 miles.  To give you an idea, Federal Way is 9 miles wide from Dash Point to the Supermall and 6 miles wide from Redondo to the Pierce County Line.  There are merely 85,000 people in the FW compared to Daegu's 2.55 million inhabitants.  How's that for urban density!  The snowy peak in the north is Palgong Mountain.  The Sincheon River runs through the middle of the city, from south to north.  The Geumhogang is more or less the northern boundary of urban Daegu.  Like always, you can click the image to enlarge it.

This next image is zoomed in on Buk-gu--that is the North District--where I live.  In the center of the image is the Bokhyun 5-way Junction.  Just to the north of that is Costco.  It takes about 20 minutes to walk to Costco.  The Geumhogang River is to the east and north, while the Sincheon flows from south to north.  I circled the National University and labeled my apartment.  Dongdaegu Station can barely be seen at the southern edge of the district.

This image is zoomed closer to my apartment.  I outlined the National University and the Northgate District.  You can see how close it is to my apartment.

This is just about as far as Google Earth would let me zoom in.  You can see ECC and just how close I live to it.

This is my jogging path.  I run along the yellow line.  It is a really nice 4.5 mile route.  It takes me through the neighborhood to the University and through the University grounds to the Sincheon River.  I run along the rive for about a kilometer and then double back on the other side before heading back into the neighborhood towards the Shillae Gymnasium (big white stadium).  The last leg brings me back home through the neighborhood alleys.
